SUPER RATHey guys! do you like RUFUS character in kim Possible Cartoon?...So why do you think Rufus deserve to be a SUPERHERO character. in this real life?.. Rufus or also known as the naked mole rat (Heterocephalus glaber) might hold the key to curing cancer. The rodent lives underground, beyond the reach of predators, which helps explain why it can live for more than 28 years - about 10 times longer than a mouse. Despite this longevity, they has been documented case of cancer in one. Now scientists think they know why.
It turn out that the rat's cells have extremely high "contact inhibition", which means that the cells stop multiplying when they get too crowded together. This helps to protect against uncontrolled cell multiplication that can lead to tumors. Like human's this rat has both p27 and p16 gene inside them but their p16 gene can plays role in regulating cell multiplication compare to humans. So know there is a reason why Rufus shouldn't be a superhero.. he..he..he..
