Magazine! oh Magazine!

Just came back from Bintulu town, alang-alang dah masuk Park city Mall (PCM) temankan Piyan dan Syafiq beli barang. Aku saje jew la memanjangkan langkah ker Popular Book Store kat mall tu. Ingat nak cuci mate tgk magazine-magazine yang ado, tup -tup terbeli pulak magazine kat atas nu.. tak tahan godaan betul.. ki.. ki.. ki..
First magazine yang kat belakang tu magazine on Digital SLR photography, rase nyer baru lagi kat market kot, baru ader dua issue.. last month memang aku tak ke Popular or other book store, so memang la tak tahu akan kewujudan nyer kat pasaran Malaysia. Murah pon murah hanya RM 10, tapi memandangkan aku kat Sarawak harga dia up la siket jadi RM12. From my flesh view, rase nyer isi kandungan dia boleh tahan jugak la, bebaloi dengan duit aku yang melayang...
Second tu memang my own collection nyer magazine, dah menjadi kewajipan untuk aku beli setiap bulan sejak aku mula jatuh cinta membaca nyer...Kalo dah nama nyer Discovery channel Magazine sure lah la isi nyer sangat infomartif. tapi malang nyer April issue aku terlupe nak beli.. Mase aku nak gi bayar majalah-majalah tu kat counter ader gak aku tanya awek casher tu pasal last month nyer magazine tapi malang nyer dia kata dia orang dah anto balik g kilang kot.. ceh! seday sungguh..

Sustainable Development and the Conservation of Mammals and bird biodiversity in Tree-Crop Plantations in Borneo

Last week I was very pleased to join a seminar on a nature science entitle Sustainable Development and the Conservation of Mammals and bird biodiversity in Tree-Crop Plantations in Borneo by Datuk Seri Lord Cranbrook (man in the picture).
As an introduction for the seminar, the speaker gives a diverse perspective of the world geographical formation and the relation to the development of mammals and birds diversity in Borneo. In this presentation, the speaker was highlighted that there are about 283 non-marine species of mammals with the largest number of bats species (102 species) followed by 61 rodents species and 55 endemic species in Borneo. The distributions of these mammals’ species are mainly populated in the highlands area of Borneo Island with the diversity reduced form north Borneo (Sabah) to the south part. The similar observations were also applied on the Birds species and this might caused by the migrations of this mammals during the ice age as most of south east asia land are connected during that time.
There are about 740 birds species in Borneo with 445 are breeding species, 51 endemic species and 244 migrant species. The speaker also mention about an interesting fact on the existence of tiger species in Borneo based on the archaeological evidence which this species are no longer can be found in this island, I know may be some of you are really surprise with this statement. These conclude that the biogeography past environment edges perhaps compounded by past human activities.
As for the plantations area, the deforestation activities affect almost 85% of the mammals and birds species in Borneo as most of them cannot survive in this plantations area and this bring the speaker to the other questions on the role of government and private sectors on their responsibilities to minimize damage to environment by environment regulation, licensing, campaigns, and any other actions to minimize the impact. The speakers suggest that it is good way to protect wildlife by reserving high conservation value area of the forest. But before this conservation activity can be applied we need to educate the community on how important to protect this animal’s species from annihilation. In the end of his presentation he suggest that the forest replanting is a good step towards conservation of wildlife and more study must be conduct especially to protect this wildlife and help them to survive in the plantations area.

Gift and Award

Actually, I still have a few series of gift that have not been distributed yet.. simpan dalam locker (T_T). Rase malas jer nak melangkah ker Post office tu.. But because one of my friend (lady Dee) going to get married this weekend.. dengan paksa relanya aku pergi pos barang tu.. tp satu jer la.. yg lain belom lagi.. hahaha..

Cute tak??.. hihi.. actually I don't know nak bagi ape for her wedding.. rase nyer yg nie ok kot.. hahaha...(^^)

This master peace lak, I want to gift to my Sister for her wedding anniversary sekali ngan barang yang dia kirim, tapi tak tau nak print on t-shirt or bantal... Erm.. leceh tul.. silap2 ader simpan kat blog nie jer.. hahahah

p/s: aku windu kampung!!.. hahaha..

Sape sakit?!...

Ubat-ubat!.. sape mau ubat.. Ubat stress ader, ubat gestrik ader, ubat maigrain ader, ubat miskin ader, ubat sengal-sengal ader.. mai..mai.. beli ini ubat.. =p

Kerja.. kerja.. kerja..

Tak cukup-cukup ngan kerja yang sedia ader... Datang lagi satu keje.. naik pening aku di buat nyer. Bilik sendiri pon dah rupe sarang hamster zul dibuat nyer.. kertas sana sini. Nie baru jadi part timer + student, belum lagi keje betul-betul. Kalo dah keje nanti macam mana la buzy nyer agak nyer... hahaha..

This week banyak benda yang berlaku, macam-macam ado (^^) Awal tahun nie ramai pulak member-member aku yang kawen, semua macam dok pakat nak tamatkan zaman bujang tahun nie, tak ketingalan seorang cousin aku yang kawen ari nie. Next week ader lagi sorang kawan sekolah pulak yang kawen.. semua nyer jemput aku attend, tapi macam mana nak pergi, tiket bukan nyer murah kawan.. nak survive kat sini pon payoh (T_T) lagi pon minggu nie aku busy ngan exam student peat soil management aku, next week la kena attend seminar on scientific writing pulak dah.. nasib badan la yer...

Minggu nie gaji masyuk!!.. hurey akhirnya penantian selama sebulan berhasil.. tapi blom sempat ape-ape aku dah kerugian beberapa ringgit gare-gara over due buku library selama 36 hari.. haha.. Sungguh la malang, bukan sengaja tak mau pulang tapi buku-buku tu sangat-sangat diperlukan buat mase nie. kalo ikutkan ati nak jer aku rembat terus buku-buku tu.. tapi nanti tak berkat la pulak.. buku tu pon bukan pak aku yang belikan.. hahahah

Cube ko orang agak berapa hinggit aku kena bayor??

Exam dah skunk kena tanda kertas la pulak, cepat la habis.. moga-moga aku tak stress menanda...
